Carole Sharp

Originally from southern Illinois, Carole taught French at a community college for a brief period. She then relocated to Chicago, where she spent the next 34 years. During this time, she launched a successful career with State Farm Insurance, managing auto and homeowners liability, injury, and litigated claims. She retired in 2019.

In 2021, Carole moved to Naples full-time. However, retirement eventually proved to be a bit too quiet, prompting her to seek out volunteer opportunities. This led her to teach English and reading skills to second language children and adults at Grace Place, which, in turn, introduced her to A+ Skills.

Today, she is proud to be part of the dedicated team of managers and tutors in Naples, finding great joy in working with the children and brightening each day through their cheerful smiles.
